Established in 2021, Mallee Karlip Group proudly stands as a nationally certified Aboriginal-owned and operated business.

Led by Noongar Man Jay Collard and business partner Matthew Guy, our mission is to create a positive impact for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through meaningful initiatives in employment, mentoring, and training.

The roots of Mallee Karlip run deep, as Jay Collard's family has ties to the Mallee region (Kondinin). His grandfather, Don Collard, initiated the Kondinin Mallee Aboriginal Corporation in 1998, laying the foundation for our commitment to tradition and community. In honoring this legacy, we carry the name 'Mallee' with pride and dedication

In Noongar, 'Karlip' translates to 'countryman,' 'close friend,' or 'mate.' This word encapsulates the profound bond between Jay and Matthew, forged over 15 years of friendship since their school days. It defines the heart of Mallee Karlip Group, creating a distinctive and approachable business culture.
